Bastrop Juneteenth Parade, Celebration & Street Dance 2026
Founded in 1986, the Bastrop Juneteenth Celebration is celebrating its 40th anniversary in historic Bastrop, Texas to the delight of the entire family. Enjoy the parade, Freedom Festival, and downtown street dance for a full day of celebration. Bastrop Juneteenth Parade 10 a.m. – The Bastrop Juneteenth Parade is a vibrant annual event held in Bastrop, Texas, celebrating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. Scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, the parade features a procession along Bastrop's historic Main Street with floats, marching bands, dance teams, classic cars, and community groups. Freedom Festival Immediately After Parade – The Family Freedom Festival takes place at Fisherman’s Park, offering live music, food vendors, games, and family-friendly activities throughout the day. Street Dance 7-11 p.m. – In the evening, a street dance on Main Street provides an opportunity for the community to come together in celebration.
